terms
Terms of use.
Last updated 2026-08-18
Boxdawn is pre-Beta and free. These terms are short because the service is small: you send a trace, you get a report, and what we keep afterwards is set out on the privacy page.
As-is, no warranty
The hosted analyzer is provided as-is, with no warranty and no uptime commitment. It can change, break, or be withdrawn without notice.
The numbers are estimates
Cost and waste figures are derived from token counts and public model prices. They are an estimate of saving potential, not measured savings, and not financial or engineering advice. Verify before acting on them.
What you upload
You are responsible for having the right to upload the trace you upload. Do not upload traces holding other people's data without their permission, and do not upload credentials. A report can quote content from your own file back to you.
Fair use of the endpoint
On a one-off upload: one analysis at a time, no scripted bulk submission, no attempt to overload the endpoint. There is no rate limit on it; that is a request for restraint, not a claim that abuse is impossible. With an API key: submission volume is metered per day; retention is not.
The CLI is separate
The open-source detector is MIT licensed and governed by that license, not by this page. Running it locally involves no service and no terms.
Optional account, no payment
There is nothing to cancel and no billing relationship. If that changes, it will change on a page that says so.
Changes
This page is the current version. It will be expanded before general availability.
